My present series of works takes a departure from my earlier corpus of ideas. Now, I delve into the deepest recesses of the mind and the world of beauty around us; such beauty that is there in depths of the oceans, the infinity of the clouds, the infinity of the blue skies, the infinite foliage in the forests, the infinite cells that make up the outer appearance of the creatures, the galaxies; and in the infinite number of celestial bodies that captivate our wonder of the universe. The world is a mass of infinite possibilities, infinite chaos, infinite realms of knowledge; the countless nebulas, black holes, solar systems; and the countless organisms; the countless veins in the neuron systems; the infinite waves of the infinite seas; the infinite waves of the most melodious music in the finest symphonies; the sounds of instruments… these have been expressed in my present series of works. “-Pratul Dash

Pratul is a committed artist who has been working towards creating awareness about climate change, from the time when it was not such an acknowledged or prevalent topic. He has worked with many mediums, paintings, drawings, photography, video art and performances. He has put up several site specific installations to draw attention to the anthropocene. He has always been involved in projects to create this mindfulness via his work.
